No matter where you’re ringing in 2019, you can add to your celebration by watching the ball drop in Times Square live and online.

The New Year’s celebration in New York City’s Times Square is iconic. It’s known the world over as the biggest party of all but you don’t have to be there to partake in the partying. You can watch the ball drop from the comfort of your own home because there is a live stream of the entire event.

Many people who stay home on New Year’s Eve end up watching the live broadcast of the ball drop in New York. People in other time zones get to watch it twice, once as it happens live on East Coast time and once again in their own time zone on a tape delay.

The live stream will allow you to watch the whole event without having to tune into one of the networks hosting their own celebrations from Times Square. Sometimes you just want to see the ball and that’s it, and the live broadcast will give you the basic view that you need to make it through to the new year.

Here is the link to the official live stream so you can watch the ball drop.

This event is hosted by Allison Hagendorf, Andrea Boehlke and Jeremy Hassel, who will provide coverage of the ball dropping as well as crowd coverage from the streets below. There will also be performances from The Lab, Bebe Rexha and the lovelytheband and the USO Show Troupe. You’ll also get backstage access and all kinds of bonus coverage that won’t be shown anywhere else.

Having a live stream of the ball drop will come in handy if you’re hosting a party, as you can have it on in the background until the moment arrives.
