Players costing $6,250 or under

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs GS – $6,000): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. WCS has been under 26 fantasy points in his last two games. It’s a bit concerning, but the minutes are still there and I love this matchup. The Warriors just have center issues right now while, for the most part, I know what I’m getting from WCS. Even though he’s not playing great right now, I like this matchup. Diagnosis: Cold at the moment, but proven matchup and a high ceiling.

Serge Ibaka (at MIL – $5,800): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. Ibaka was down to 25 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 3. He’s been cold during this recent stretch, but much like WCS, this is a matchup he’s done very well against. He’s been at 45 fantasy points in both games against the Bucks this season. Trust him to deliver given the matchup, even if he’s cold at the moment. Diagnosis: Read what I wrote about WCS.

Brook Lopez (vs TOR – $5,400): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. Pay no attention to what Lopez did or didn’t do against the Hawks on Friday. That game doesn’t matter. He’s been very good for the Bucks during this run and his shots will continue to be there. He had 31.25 fantasy points against the Raptors on Dec. 9. Until I see him truly cool off, I’ll keep taking him, especially at this salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
