5. Draft an Edge Rusher

Terrell Suggs is a future Hall of Famer who had another incredible year in 2018. He finished with seven sacks, six pass deflections and a forced fumble.

However, at 36 years old, Suggs’ NFL career is winding down, and it’s time for the Ravens to start considering the future of who is going to start pressuring quarterbacks.

The Ravens did draft Tim Williams in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft, but the Ravens have been shy about giving him too many snaps in his two seasons with the team. He was able to record two sacks this season, but the Ravens might need a more dominant prospect to replace Suggs.

The good news is that this year’s draft class has a ton of edge rushers with first-round talent. A name like Florida’s Jachai Polite or Florida State’s Brian Burns could be a real possibility if the Ravens choose to go that route.

Baltimore won’t be picking super early, but a wild-card exit should give them a chance to find someone extremely talented in the first round.
