High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (at WAS – $10,800): Needs 48.6 fantasy points. Butler was back and Embiid was down to 38 fantasy points in 24 minutes. It’s possible that this is a blowout as well, but maybe the Sixers are a bit too high and the Wizards have more energy playing at home. If you’re worried about the blowout, Jusuf Nurkic should have a bounce-back performance against the Bulls. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but a blowout is possible.

Andre Drummond (at LAL – $9,500): Needs 42.7 fantasy points. Drummond has been at 45 fantasy points in his last two games. He’s inconsistent, but he’s typically good for a decent number of rebounds. And it’s the Lakers, a team with very little frontcourt presence. Drummond should be good for a double-double at the very least in this one and I would expect his rebounding numbers to be strong. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a great matchup and a high ceiling.

Julius Randle (vs CLE – $8,200): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. Randle had 49.4 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Jan. 5. He was down to 24.8 fantasy points against the Grizzlies, but that was a slightly tougher matchup. He should have no issue getting his numbers against the Cavaliers. A blowout is in play, which is concerning, but he should get numbers even in limited minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
