Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs LAL – $14,300): Needs 61.2 fantasy points. It’s James Harden. The salary is going to keep climbing as long as he keeps delivering. And it looks like he is going to keep delivering. He’s been outstanding during this stretch and will continue to be outstanding because what else are the Rockets going to do? Harden is just getting it done and shows no signs of slowing down except in the last five minutes of a game. Diagnosis: Build around him with all the confidence in the world, even at this high salary.

Luka Doncic (at IND – $8,900): Needs 38.1 fantasy points. Luka continues to be special. He had 47.6 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 16. The Pacers are solid defensive team but they have had their issues as of late. And the Mavericks aren’t as good on the road but Luka continues to deliver no matter the circumstances. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at ORL – $6,800): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. Blowouts have been what’s held the Bucks back as of late. Middleton’s salary has dropped because of it, which makes him easier to fit into your lineup on Saturday. And if the game is close, that’s even better for Middleton’s value. Even in a blowout, Middleton is going to get numbers and is more reliable than the other shooting guards not listed. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling, especially if the game is close.
