Manifest episode 12 synopsis: Vanishing Point

This week’s episode of Manifest finds Ben searching for his kidnapped son. Here is the synopsis of Manifest season 1 episode 12 “Vanishing Point.”

Last week’s episode of Manifest revealed that Autumn is a mole for the bad guys, and Cal might be a young boy but he’s smart and he knows more than anyone else around him. When Cal is kidnapped, thanks to Autumn’s treachery, he has a plan in place to help his father track him down.

What’s more is that Captain Daly might still be alive out there. Nothing is as it seems on Manifest and without wreckage there’s a very good chance that the Captain of Flight 828 managed to recreate the Dark Lightning anomaly. He could very well be with Fiona in the year 2024…or not. Surely this will play into the future of the show somehow.

Here is the episode description of “Vanishing Point”:

"Ben and Grace rush upstate to find a kidnapped Cal, using his drawings as clues to his whereabouts; Michaela arrests and interrogates a traitorous Autumn, who may know more than she is letting on about Cal’s disappearance."

Thanks to Cal’s heightened callings, he was aware enough of what was about to happen that he drew a map for his father with pictures of places where he might be. Whether Ben can reach him in time is a whole other story, because there’s a good chance that the Major might be with Cal, wherever he is.

While Ben looks for Cal, Michaela has to deal with Autumn. It seems likely that Jared will be involved in the quest to find her, now that Cal is missing. Michaela won’t say no to help when it comes to saving her nephew. But will she allow Jared to help interrogate Autumn? And what will Autumn have to say about her time spent as a double agent?

There’s no question that this week’s “Vanishing Point” will up the ante for fans of Manifest. The story has been building a strong foundation, and with only a few episodes left until the season finale all bets are off.
