High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Donovan Mitchell (vs MIN – $8,700): Needs 40.5 fantasy points. Mitchell continues to play well for the Jazz, even with Rubio back in the starting lineup. He had 61.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Jan. 23. The matchup is a good one on Friday because the Timberwolves are on a back-to-back and aren’t very good in the first place. They’re also on the road and will be with zero point guards. Mitchell will deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (vs NY – $8,600): Needs 40 fantasy points. Russell has been over 55 fantasy points in four of his last five games. And with Dinwiddie out of the lineup, Russell will have an even bigger chance to succeed in this one. And it’s the Knicks. Everything is coming up well for Russell in this game and I love him on Friday. Diagnosis: Take with all the confidence in the world based on matchup, how hot he is, and circumstances.

Eric Bledsoe (vs CHA – $7,400): Needs 34.4 fantasy points. Bledsoe has been mainly good for the Bucks this season although maybe a bit limited as the Bucks keep rolling on teams. My logic in this game is that the Bucks haven’t played in awhile and they could come out a big sluggish before they get their game legs. That’ll keep the game competitive and allow Bledsoe to play more minutes and contribute more. Of course, I could be wrong. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable and a high ceiling.
