Tennessee, Duke and Virginia had great weeks, but how far will Michigan State fall after losing to Purdue to go 2-1 for the week?

Just like it has been over the past few weeks, college basketball has been upset city. Unlike last week, though, the top five will remain relatively the same as the teams in that range went a combined 9-0 after three of them lost a week ago.

Duke took care of business and got back on track with a couple of wins, Tennessee held on to that top spot, avoiding an upset versus a West Virginia team that took down Kansas last weekend, Virginia smacked around two ACC foes, Gonzaga dominated in its only contest and Michigan escaped a home upset versus Minnesota and blew the doors off Indiana on the road.

The rest of the AP Top 25 didn’t go unscathed, though. In fact, the 10-25 range was an absolute mess.

It saw almost everyone in that range lose at least one game.

Virginia Tech was smacked around by North Carolina, Maryland lost a couple of games after getting red-hot in the middle of Big Ten play, Texas Tech remained inconsistent, Buffalo shockingly lost its first MAC game, Auburn struggled again, Iowa had trouble with Michigan State for the second time this season and Ole Miss dropped two more after cracking the AP Top 25.

Not to mention NC State, Mississippi State and Iowa State all lost a game and could be in danger of dropping out of the rankings completely.

What could the Week 13 AP Top 25 look like?
