High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kawhi Leonard (at DAL – $9,700): Needs 43.6 fantasy points. Kawhi had 50.75 fantasy points against the Rockets in his return to the lineup on Jan. 25. He’s been reliable all season and with the Raptors in a mini-slump they’ll need Kawhi to pull them out of it. The matchup is a good one as the Mavericks aren’t good, even if they have played well at home. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Luka Doncic (vs TOR – $8,200): Needs 37.4 fantasy points. Luka was up to 59.5 fantasy points against the Pistons on Jan. 25. As mentioned above, the Mavericks are a good team at home and Luka is the bet player on the team. He’ll have his hands full as he’ll likely be covered by Kawhi for most of the game. He did had 34.75 fantasy points against the Raptors on Oct. 26 and that was when he was just getting his feet wet. He should get at least value in this one. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Aaron Gordon (at HOU – $6,600): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. Gordon had 47.75 fantasy points against the Wizards on Jan. 25. I still don’t like his game on a night-to-night basis as he is all over the place but I also don’t like the Rockets frontcourt, even with Faried in the starting lineup. Gordon had 43 fantasy points against Houston on Jan. 13 and they had Capela in that game if you’re looking for a positive sign. Diagnosis: Inconsistent but a good ceiling and matchup.
