27. Eric Stonestreet, Kansas State Wildcats

Eric Stonestreet is better known as Cameron Tucker on the hit ABC TV show Modern Family, a role that has earned the hilarious actor multiple Emmy wins in his career. Funny enough, Tucker actually is a high school football coach on the show. That’s fitting for Stonestreet in the real world, because the man is an absolute college football nut. That comes about the most when it comes to the Kansas State Wildcats.

The actor was born in Kansas City, Kansas, so his fandom of the Wildcats actually dates back to his childhood. For good measure, he’s also a big-time fan of the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs. While those teams hold a place in his heart, a bigger space in the heart is reserved for the Wildcats from Manhattan.

Stonestreet, like many fans that will be listed here, attended Kansas State for his college education. However, his connection to the football team might actually be a bit deeper than some others in that regard. Before his acting career got underway, Stonestreet was actually a member of the marching band at Kansas Sate, meaning he was surrounding himself with Wildcats football throughout his time in college.

He’s continued to do that in years since he attended the university, often seen donning Kansas State apparel, decking himself out in purple. He can be found in Manhattan several times per season whenever college football season rolls around and that’s not likely to change any time soon considering how deep his fandom runs.
