Every college football recruiting class has its hidden gems. Here are the top 10 diamonds in the rough to look out for from 2019 National Signing Day.

While early National Signing Day saw many of the top college football recruits sign their letters of intent, there are still plenty of talented recruits left available. Of course, everyone will be focusing on the top players that are still available but there are still many diamonds in the rough, too.

Those players that sit outside the top 150 players on recruiting boards and are in the next tier of recruits that teams look to fill out their classes with. A star ranking doesn’t define a player and there have been plenty of examples of lower-ranked recruits becoming gems.

If a recruit can enter the right system with the right coaching, the potential to blossom just as much as a five-star recruit exists for lower recruits as well. Recruiting is an inexact science and while teams chase the top players, there can be some nice surprises that perhaps no one was expecting.

The main National Signing Day is set to get underway on Feb. 6 and the rest of the recruits available will make their decisions. Even those that aren’t getting the same spotlight as others that are on the outside looking in will make their decision.

Some could still find their way to a top program while others could break out for a smaller program. Here are the top 10 diamonds in the rough that will be available when college football recruiting completes the 2019 cycle on National Signing Day.
