With Super Bowl VIII officially in the books, it’s time to look ahead to 2019. We have a list of opponents, but when will we know the full 2019 schedule?

With the Super Bowl champions crowned and the 2018 season put to rest, many fans will be looking ahead to the 2019 season. At the start of the new year, the NFL released a list of opponents each team will face in the 2019 season. The full schedule won’t be released until sometime in mid-April, but we know that it will kickoff on Thursday, Sept. 5 and will finish on Dec. 29. Super Bowl LIV will be in Miami, Florida at Hard Rock Stadium.

With the opponents already released, we know that the Raiders will have the toughest schedule. They will face seven playoff opponents and nine opponents with winning records. This season was already tough for the Silver and Black, but with several tough opponents and still no confirmed home for the 2019 season, it seems like it’s going to be another rough year for the Raiders.

The Patriots and the Redskins have the easiest schedules in terms of opponents winning percentage. The Patriots will play four teams with 10 or more wins in 2018, and five teams who went to the 2018 playoffs. The Redskins will play four teams with ten or more wins in 2018, and six teams who qualified for the 2018 playoffs, including the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles in their division.

So, while we won’t have the 2019 schedule until mid-April, you can check out the full list of opponents here. And mark your calendars for Thursday, Sept. 5: The day that football returns.
