In case you forgot your extra large mug of coffee this morning, here is an extra peppy episode of Fastbreak Breakfast discussing Kevin Durant’s future, the Kristaps Porzingis trade, and the fallout over Rudy Gobert not being selected as an All-Star reserve.

(As it turns out- the NBA isn’t the only league that sometimes snubs defenders).

Comedian Joey Devine (@joeydevine) joins to help gauge whether the Knicks have an inkling that Durant may be inbound through free agency and whether or not the Warriors and their fans would actually be ok with that. Joey hosts the Roundball Rock podcast and has been a Golden State fan since before Anthony Randolph and Ekpe Udoh were potential franchise saviors.

Then we focus on the Utah Jazz and their reported proposal to the commissioner to create an All-Star Selection Committee to make sure a deserving player like Gobert isn’t ever left off again. This couldn’t backfire certainly? Is this more embarrassing than campaigning for rookie of year on a technicality?

  • Was Dave Joerger jealous of the Trail Blazers being able to acquire Rodney Hood from the Cavaliers?
  • What is the best food delivery app to work for?
  • Would you rather a professional athlete call you “boss,” “chief,” or “bro?”

Fastbreak Breakfast is a podcast for serious NBA fans that is incredibly not serious. All episodes are available on Apple Podcasts and Soundcloud or any other major podcast service.

Next. The Knicks are gambling on free agency again. dark
