Preston Smith is a player that both contenders and rebuilding teams should be drawn to. At only 26 years old, Smith has been part of a deep rotation in Washington. He’s not consistent, but his flashes are worth investing into because he shows potential of stardom.

Smith’s long frame and strength at the point of attack make him a candidate to be a tremendous value on his next deal. Unleashing him as a pure pass-rusher and using him less in coverage should be part of the plan for suitors.

Projected deal: Four years, $32 million

Best fits: Washington Redskins, Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins
