The 2019 NASCAR season officially starts with the 2019 Daytona 500. Here’s the full Daytona 500 TV schedule, start time, and TV details.

The premier NASCAR event of the season is the Daytona 500, but most people can’t make it down to Daytona International Speedway to watch it live. Many NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series fans will be watching on TV—and here’s everything you need to know about the Daytona 500 TV schedule so you don’t miss the race or anything leading up to it.

The front row was set on Sunday with William Byron winning his first pole position, but there’s plenty of action happening on-track this week leading up to the race, and all of it is on TV.

On Thursday, Feb. 14 there are the Duels at Daytona, starting at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. ET). These two races will determine the Daytona 500 starting grid. Both of them will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Once the lineup is set, Feb. 15 and Feb. 16 will feature practice sessions for the Monster Energy Cup Series drivers. There are two sessions on Friday (1:05 p.m. ET and 3:05 p.m. ET) but just one of them on Saturday (12:05 p.m. ET). Fox Sports 1 is also televising all three practices.

That’s all building up to the 2019 Daytona 500 start time at 2:30 p.m. ET (11:30 a.m. PT) on Sunday, Feb. 17. For the race itself, coverage moves from FS1 to FOX, with the broadcast team including former champion Jeff Gordon and Mike Joy. Newest NASCAR analyst Jamie McMurray will not be part of the broadcast; he’s racing in the event for Spire Motorsports.

Daytona 500 week will be busy with lots for NASCAR fans to watch, and it’s easy to keep up with since most of it is on the same TV channel. If you’re not sure where FS1 is in your area, find the channel here. Then make sure you follow along all the way through the 2019 Daytona 500!
