North Carolina vs. Virginia live stream: Watch college basketball online

The North Carolina Tar Heels hope to make a statement in the ACC as they take on the Virginia Cavaliers on Monday night in Chapel Hill.

This past weekend in college basketball didn’t go the way the North Carolina Tar Heels or the Virginia Cavaliers had planned. On one hand, UNC welcomed Miami to town looking for what should’ve been an easy win. Instead, they needed a comeback to force overtime to get the victory. As for UVA, they hoped to get revenge against Duke, but the Blue Devils instead took the season series in a sweep.

On Monday night, North Carolina and Virginia will now go toe-to-toe in Chapel Hill. These are two top-10 ranked teams in the country and both are looking to establish their place both atop the ACC and in the national landscape. A victory on Monday would go a long way in helping to accomplish that.

North Carolina has everything that you want from a Roy Williams team. Freshman Coby White looks like a budding star at point guard right now, while the likes of Cam Johnson, Luke Maye and Kenny Williams are quality veteran players that offer a ton of versatility at their respective positions.

As for Virginia, they still play their trademark suffocating defense, but have more offense than in years past. From Ty Jerome to Kyle Guy to De’Andre Hunter, this team has more star power than we’re used to from a Tony Bennett group, and they’d love for a bounce-back win over the Tar Heels.

North Carolina has proven in flashes that they can be one of the best teams in the ACC this season, but so too has Virginia. This game on Monday night will go a long way in sorting out the current hierarchy in the conference, though, and should be another blockbuster matchup that everyone should tune in to.
