Heading into his second season as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, Mike Vrabel has to reconstruct his roster in certain areas.

Mike Vrabel had an eventful first season as a head coach. Occasionally, he would leave many scratching their heads at some of his decisions.  Although, unlike many of the other branches that have fallen off the Bill Belichick coaching tree, Vrabel did show he is capable of being successful at the helm.

The Tennessee Titans played to a final record of 9-7, which landed them third in the instantaneously competitive AFC South. When you sift through the talent on the Tennessee roster, 9-7 isn’t a bad record. However, that record could have been one or two wins better if it weren’t for some Vrabel rookie coaching blunders.

Regardless, Vrabel and team general manager Jon Robinson have to find a way to provide quarterback Marcus Mariota with weapons on offense, and they need to fine tune some spots on defense.

Offensively, the Titans found themselves towards the bottom of the league. Team signal-callers threw for the fourth-least amount of passing yards (2,975) and touchdowns (16) in the NFL.

The emergence of Derrick Henry late in the season helped the Titans have one of the best rushing attacks in the league. Dion Lewis served as a great change of pace back to complement Henry as well.

Defensively, the team needs to plug some holes. With a decent amount of cap and picks in every round but the sixth, the major areas of need that the team should focus on are as follows.
