Edge. Ohio State. Nick Bosa. 2. player. 42.

The San Francisco 49ers went into the 2018 NFL season with high expectations, as they signed their franchise quarterback during the off-season to a long-term deal. Jimmy Garoppolo came over to San Francisco during the 2017 season, leading the team to five straight victories to close out the season, so it was no surprise that the organization felt like they were in good hands moving forward.

Unfortunately, Garoppolo would end up suffering a season-ending knee injury during the year, leaving the team to scramble when it came to the quarterback position. When all was said and done, the 49ers had won only four games, and will now find themselves picking with the No. 2  overall selection in 2019.

With that pick, the 49ers should look to bring in some talent on the edge, and if the Cardinals select Quinnen Williams with the first overall pick, you would have to think Nick Bosa would be next up in line. Bosa is the kind of guy who is going to be an elite player at the NFL level, and there is no way that he falls outside of the first two picks this April.

The 49ers have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, and Bosa is a player who will instantly make them better against the past next season. Last season, the NFC West sent two teams to the playoffs, as the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks both made the postseason, and the 49ers are hoping it will be their turn in 2019.
