Steph Curry casually drained 29 consecutive 3-pointers in a practice session. Thursday night against the Kings he nailed 10 of them.

Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry recently admitted he feels he is a better player than he was during his 2016 MVP season. If you can recollect, Curry was an absolute monster that year and swiftly changed the dynamics with his 3-point shot.

If you compare this season and 2016, his numbers aren’t far away from each other. He averaged 30.1 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor 45 percent from on 3s. This season, he’s averaging 28.8 points per game while shooting just under 49 percent from the floor and 45 percent from 3.

A couple days ago, we got a glimpse of Curry draining 29 3s in a row as if it were routine. It’s no wonder he makes hitting 10 3-pointers in a game appear to be another night in Curry land. Thursday night against the Sacramento Kings, Curry scored 36 points while connecting on 10 3-pointers.

As we see above, Curry has turned the 3-point shot into an art form. But what appears effortless is usually a culmination of hard work. It’s evident when you examine Curry’s stats that the work has been put in, which has been parlayed to three NBA titles and two NBA MVP’s.

If Curry continues to put in work as he did Wednesday, there will be no slowing down for Curry in the near future.
