4. Mia Yim vs Shayna Baszler
The women were in the main event tonight as the NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler went one-on-one with Mia Yim in a non-title contest.

This match went back and forth and it was clear to all that Yim certainly belongs in the women’s title picture at NXT. She took the Queen of Spades to her limit before the champion managed to pull out the victory in the end with a Kirifuda Clutch.
A loss for Yim, unfortunately, puts her out of title contention for the foreseeable future as in two-weeks’ time on NXT, Bianca Belair will face off with Io Shirai to determine a new No. 1 contender for Baszler’s championship, with the winner receiving their match at NXT TakeOver: New York.
Since we have already seen Belair and Baszler at the last TakeOver, perhaps it will be Shirai’s time come WrestleMania weekend at the Barclays Center.
