DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 2, 2019
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Nikola Jokic (vs NO – $10,200): Needs 49.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.75 fantasy points against Utah. Jokic was down against the Jazz but don’t be too worried. Rudy Gobert just did a great job on him. The Pelicans don’t offer much defense and they are on a back-to-back. Jokic should return to form in this game, getting plenty of points and rebounds while chipping in with a handful of assists. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
DeMarcus Cousins (at PHI – $8,200): Needs 39.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.75 fantasy points against Orlando. No Embiid means a lot of Cousins. As I’ve been saying throughout the slideshow, the Warriors should take this game serious and that’s probably bad news for the Sixers, who are missing their best player. Cousins is getting more minutes and has been better than expected already for the Warriors. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Rudy Gobert (vs MIL – $7,900): Needs 38.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Denver. Gobert had a good defensive game against the Nuggets but that doesn’t translate to DFS numbers on most nights. But I like this matchup for him as the Bucks are on a back-to-back and the Jazz are playing very well right now. The Bucks are also a tad undersized and Gobert has the ability to hurt them in a big way. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
