Oklahoma. Cody Ford. 18. player. 60. . Offensive Lineman

The Minnesota Vikings were another one of those NFC teams that really disappointed this past season, as they failed to capitalize on a magical run in 2017. The reason they failed could be the fact that they got rid of their quarterback from  that run, as Case Keenum was replaced by Kirk Cousins under center.

Of course, Keenum did not have much magic left in him anyway, as he played poorly in his first season with the Denver Broncos, but Cousins did not help the team take the next step, much like he was expected to. The previous year, Keenum led the team all the way to  the NFC title game, and they failed to make the playoffs this past season.

As they look towards 2019, they have to do something about the offensive line, which was one of the worst in football last season. One player who could really help them in a number of spots is Cody Ford, who many consider to be one of the more versatile linemen this draft class has to offer this April.

Minnesota also saw their defense look very average at times last season, so they could go a number of different ways with this pick in April. Ford makes a lot of sense because they invested so much money in Cousins, and if he cannot get the job done, and lead this team to the playoffs, they are in big trouble.
