Defensive Tackle. Clemson. Dexter Lawrence. 28. player. 13.

For most of the 2018 NFL season,  the Los Angeles Chargers were one of the best teams in football, winning an incredible 12 games. The only problem is, they also play in the AFC West with the Kansas City Chiefs, who also won 12 games, and had the tiebreaker over the Chargers, sending them to a Wild Card berth.

Playing on the road against the Baltimore Ravens and rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson, Los Angeles took care of business, punching their ticket to a matchup with  Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in  the Divisional Round. Brady proved to be too much for Philip Rivers and company once again, as Rivers has yet to beat Brady during their time in the NFL.

Heading into 2019, the Chargers figure to  be a top team in the AFC once again, though they do have some areas they need to address. One area is up front along the defensive line, where they could look to bring in some talent on the interior to match the talent they have on the edges.

Despite the fact he could not participate in the College Football Playoff due to a failed drug test, Dexter Lawrence should still hear his name called in the first round in 2019. He was a dominant player during his time at Clemson, and the Chargers need run stuffers, so getting him at No. 28 would be an absolute steal for the Bolts.
