4. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have already made a big splash this offseason by trading for quarterback Joe Flacco, so they are clearly looking to make up significant ground on the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West. Flacco should provide an upgrade over Case Keenum, but the Broncos need to give him more weapons to succeed in the passing game.

Tight end has been a particularly troublesome spot for the Broncos, who employed the uninspiring trio of Jeff Heuerman, Matt LaCosse and Jake Butt last season. Heuerman flashed potential and could be a solid complementary piece, but the Broncos definitely need a more proven pass-catcher in that spot.

Cook would provide that for the Broncos, and his game should mesh well with Flacco’s. Flacco is best known for his ability to throw deep down field, and Cook could definitely be an asset going  down the seams.
