High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Marvin Williams (at MIL – $5,200): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.9 fantasy points against Washington. Williams has a great game against the Wizards but that was the Wizards. The matchup is much tough with the Bucks, especially being on a back-to-back. The good news is that he’s played well against the Bucks this season, averaging 27.2 fantasy points in three games against them. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (vs PHO – $4,900): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.8 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Aminu hasn’t given much in recent games, but he’s done enough to at least get you value, which is better than nothing. And it’s a weak night at the power forward position. And it’s the Suns. He typically gets the minutes, which counts for something as well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Rodions Kurucs (at ATL – $4,900): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.9 fantasy points against Cleveland. Kurucs has been very good in the past three games. He’s now in the starting lineup and I like the matchup against the Hawks because I like any team going up against the Hawks. The scoring and rebounding should be there without a doubt in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
