Pac-12

  • Dates: March 13-16
  • Location: Las Vegas, NV
  • Top Seed: Washington

If you haven’t paid a ton of attention to Pac-12 basketball this year, it would be hard to blame you. The league has been pretty terrible to watch, and there is a remote chance that it could send only one team to the NCAA Tournament if Washington cuts down the nets in Las Vegas.

The Huskies took care of business in the regular season, going 15-3 in conference play, and have a strong enough resume to snag an at-large if they don’t take care of business in Sin City. The other team with a chance at an at-large is Arizona State, which boasts a win over Kansas but also carries bad losses to Vanderbilt and Princeton.

In the end, this tournament feels like it is ripe for someone other than the Huskies or Sun Devils to get hot and win the Pac-12’s automatic bid. Watch out for Oregon, which ended the season on a four-game winning streak that included wins over the Pac-12’s two best teams.

Prediction: Oregon
