The New York Giants head into the 2019 NFL Draft with the No. 6 overall pick, although they may not stay there. Teams are going to try and move up to get their quarterback early, and if Kyler Murray goes No. 1 overall to the Arizona Cardinals, Dwayne Haskins should be a close second, and vice versa.

When it comes to the Giants, they may not have an immediate need at quarterback, as the organization is committed to Eli Manning for 2019, but his time in the Big Apple is coming to a close. While Manning had a good season statistically in 2018, the team has to start thinking about life after him.

Enter Haskins, who would be a perfect quarterback on a team that has some incredible superstars at the skill positions. Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley are some of the best players at their respective positions in the NFL, and Haskins certainly has the arm strength to make big plays down the field.

New York has been one of the worst teams in the NFL over the past two seasons, and they passed up on a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in 2018. They won’t make the same mistake again, and in a year where there are not many first round signal-callers, New York may have to move up to get their man this April.
