After Zion Williamson stole the show with a dominant return last night, Duke will look to get revenge against North Carolina in the ACC Tournament semifinals.

Last night college basketball learned that this is Zion Williamson’s world and we’re all just living in it. Williamson was perfect in Duke’s 84-72 win over Syracuse, recording 29 points and 14 rebounds while going 13-13 from the floor.

The Blue Devils looked elite with Williamson in the lineup again, evoking memories of their dominant start to the season that established Duke as national title favorites. Duke will look to advance to the finals of the ACC Tournament today, but they have a pretty big hurdle to climb in North Carolina.

The Tar Heels have already beaten Duke twice this season, but Williamson played a combined 36 seconds in those games. North Carolina got its ACC Tournament off to a brilliant starting, topping a tough Louisville team 83-70 to set up their third matchup with the Blue Devils.

Luke Maye carried the North Carolina offense with 19 points and nine rebounds, and he could be a big factor in this game. When Williamson got hurt in the first matchup of the bitter rivals, Maye went off for 30 points and 15 rebounds.

Maye will now have to find a way to try and contain Williams on the interior while contributing points on the offensive end of the floor. If North Carolina can figure out how to keep Williamson from wrecking the game, they have a great chance to outgun Duke and advance to the final tomorrow night.
