2. Ring of Honor’s Marty Scurll
The Villain would have made a great matchup for Angle given their wrestling styles. Marty Scurll, who has had success everywhere he’s been over the last several years including Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling, will actually be in the New York area that weekend for the G1 Supercard, which takes place in Madison Square Garden the day before WrestleMania. Scurll is currently slated to challenge Jay Lethal for the Ring of Honor World Championship.

Rumors are swirling that Scurll’s contract is up with ROH shortly after that show so one wouldn’t expect him to win the title and is expected to either reunite with his friends in All Elite Wrestling or join his girlfriend, Deonna Purrazzo, in the WWE.
Should he choose to go to WWE, it would be a shame that he’d enter the company just as Angle exits. A matchup between the Ankle Lock and the Crossface Chicken Wing could have been a lot of fun to see.
