DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 19, 2019
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Karl-Anthony Towns (vs GS – $9,700): Needs 46.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48 fantasy points against Houston. Towns’ salary has settled a bit as his minutes are down because it’s the end of the season and why play guys a bunch of minutes when there is nothing to play for? He’s a reliable option if nothing else, especially if the Warriors are missing DeMarcus Cousins. He had 52.75 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 10. His ceiling is a bit more limited due to minutes concerns. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Clint Capela (at ATL – $7,700): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.25 fantasy points against Minnesota. Capela continues to play at a good level based on his salary. And now he gets the Hawks. He should have plenty of points and rebounds in this one. He could even end up giving you more than Towns just because he’s likely to play more minutes since Mike D’Antoni doesn’t know the word “rest.” He calls it rast. Weird dude. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Draymond Green (at MIN – $6,300): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. Draymond can be all over the place but with Cousins out of the lineup, Draymond will have to do a bit more. Again, you never know quite what you’re going to get out of Green. But the minutes and opportunities are always there and he plays next to at least two All-Stars. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
