High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Spencer Dinwiddie (at SAC – $5,800): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.3 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Dinwiddie has been a bit down in his last couple of games and three out of his last four. The good news is that his salary has dropped to a more reasonable level and he’s up against the Kings. This feels like a game where he can have a big bounce-back performance given his lower salary and the matchup. Trust him to bounce back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Alex Caruso (at MIL – $5,400): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.6 fantasy points against New York. It’s Alex Caruso time in Los Angeles. He’s playing enough minutes and making the most of those minutes. His salary has jumped but I’m going to assume that he will continue to get the minutes. It’s a tough matchup and Luke Walton could be weird and play him five minutes in favor of Rondo. Caruso plays hard every night, which counts for something to go along with the minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (vs IND – $5,100): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.4 fantasy points against Brooklyn. I love SAG’s game right now as he definitely appears to be over his rookie slump. He remains at a good salary given the minutes he’s given and his usual production. The Pacers are on a back-to-back, which should certainly help. If they have tired legs, SAG has the energy and is a bothersome player who can force them into making even more mistakes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
