High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Harrison Barnes (vs DAL – $5,800): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.9 fantasy points against Brooklyn. It’s a revenge game for Barnes as he plays against the team that traded him in the middle of the game. He’s been all over the place as a member of the Kings but his shot has started to come around as of late and I’m a sucker for a good revenge game. And this is a team that reads him in the middle of a game (never mind the fact that they gave him a heads up). Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jae Crowder (at ATL – $5,500): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.6 fantasy points against New York. Crowder typically gets the minutes and can do a bit of everything for the Jazz. The matchup is good as it should allow Crowder to showcase his talent. The salary is also good based on his usual minutes and production. If you want to spend a little more money, Bogdanovic is typically a reliable option with a higher ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Gary Harris (at WAS – $4,700): Needs 19.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.8 fantasy points against Boston. You can also look at Will Barton if you want to spend more money at this position. Both are starting to find their rhythm together. But Harris is the cheaper option and the matchup remains the same either way. And it’s a great matchup because the Wizards don’t play defense and are on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
