High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Vucevic (vs MEM – $9,600): Needs 46.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.25 fantasy points against New Orleans. You can spend more and go with Nikola Jokic but the Knicks matchup might be a little too good and that’s a concern of mine. And you need a big game from Jokic at his salary. You need slightly less than a big game for Vucevic at his salary. It’s a tough matchup but Vucevic is a proven DFS player and the Magic need him to step up right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Clint Capela (vs SA – $7,400): Needs 35.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.5 fantasy points against Memphis. Capela was down against the Grizzlies but the Spurs have been his matchup this season. He’s averaging 49.7 fantasy points in three games against the Spurs this season, including going over 54 fantasy points in two of those contests. The Spurs are better than they were earlier in this season, but Capela has feasted on this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jonas Valanciunas (at ORL – $6,600): Needs 31.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.25 fantasy points against Houston. Valanciunas has been good more often than not since joining the Grizzlies. Losing Conley hurts as he’s a nice safety valve on the pick-and-roll but it also means he could see more opportunities. He had 36 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the Magic on Mar. 10. He should see more minutes in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
