High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Bobby Portis (at LAL – $6,100): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.25 fantasy points against Miami. Portis has been playing well but can be a bit erratic. The good news is that he’s going up against the Lakers. You can always bet against the Lakers because they are the Lakers. The Wizards aren’t good and it’s possible this game is just the saddest game ever. But I’m going to trust Portis against this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bam Adebayo (vs ORL – $5,800): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.75 fantasy points against Washington. Adebayo has been playing well as of late and now he gets the Magic on a back-to-back. I love Adebayo’s game right now and I trust him to keep playing well. This should be a competitive game and a competitive game can be tough to find at this point of the season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Nemanja Bjelica (at DAL – $5,300): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.5 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Bjelica was down a bit in his last game and has been a bit up-and-down in recent contests. But the minutes are typically there for him and he can do a bit of everything. He’s at a good salary given his usual minutes and opportunities and he should get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
