Safety. Washington. Taylor Rapp. 31. player. 51.

The Los Angeles Rams made it all the way to the Super Bowl last season, losing to Tom Brady and company by the score of 13-3. While making it to the Super Bowl was special, this organization is not going to rest until they win the big one, and have an opportunity with their Pro Bowl quarterback still on a rookie contract.

Jared Goff stepped up in a big way last season, and will be tasked with taking the next step forward in 2019. He is a guy who can make all the throws at the NFL level, but he stumbled a bit down the stretch, as the Rams offense went in the wrong direction to close out the regular season, and struggled in the playoffs.

This offseason, Los Angeles has seen some of their big-time defensive players leave via free agency, including starting safety Lamarcus Joyner. Now a member of the Silver and Black, Joyner leaves a hole in the Rams secondary, one they could choose to fill with the No. 31 overall pick in the first round this April.

There are a handful of safeties in this draft class who could go in the first round, and one of them happen to be Taylor Rapp from Washington. Rapp is a guy who is a heady safety, known for making big plays in the secondary, and would be an instant starter on a Rams defense that is going to have a different look to it in 2019.
