This week’s 205 Live starts off with a recap of last week’s action featuring Buddy Murphy attacking Tony Nese after Nese became the No. 1 contender to the Cruiserweight Championship. Commentators Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness and Aiden English inform us that Murphy will talk later tonight about his actions. Cedric Alexander vs Ariya Daivari is announced as the main event of the show.

Lucha House Party vs Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher and Humberto Carrillo

Kalisto, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado make their way to the ring. A promo from Kalisto welcomes the crowd to 205 Live as he tries to get everyone excited about the show before he is interrupted. The trio of Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher and Humberto Carrillo menacingly walk to the ring to break up the fun.

Gulak is visibly upset at Carrillo early in the match for not showing enough intensity and wrestling respectfully with the lucha trio. Lucha House Party takes control of Gulak, exchanging a few quick tags with each member of the team making him pay for his disrespect. A few tandem moves allow them to control the match for a few minutes.

Gallagher uses some questionable tactics to change the momentum by attacking Dorado despite not getting tagged in. Gulak is refreshed and tags in Gallagher for the grapplers to ground the high-fliers. Gallagher starts to execute a few rest-holds on Metailk before tagging in Carrillo.

Gulak once again chastises Carrillo for not using submissions. The heel trio exchange tags with Metalik continuing to endure everyone’s attacks. Kalisto finally gets the hot tag leading to the luchadores all gaining momentum enough to deliver synchronized dives. A huge Tower of Doom spot sees everyone taken out aside from Dorado, who delivers a splash afterwards.

All six wrestlers exchange fast-paced moves playing to the Lucha House Party style. The crowd appreciates them with applause while everyone is down. Carrillo takes control of Kalisto and attempts to execute a move off the top rope for the win. Gulak forces him down and yells at him for continuing the high-risk moves. The distraction allows Kalisto to hit the Salida del Sol on Carrillo for the win.

Lucha House Party celebrates on the ramp as Gulak and Carrillo continue arguing in the ring with Gallagher playing peacemaker.
