With the 2019 edition of the Final Four just days away, let’s a take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of the classic moments from Final Fours of the past.

Champions are made at the Final Four, and the teams that make it there have a chance to etch their names in the history books. The Final Four stage also offers opportunities for players and coaches to have their own shining moment that will live on in the memories of college basketball fans for a lifetime.

There have been a lot of memorable things during the final weekend of the college basketball season over the years, but we have come up with a list of ten of the most historic moments throughout the history of the NCAA Tournament. This list definitely has plenty of room for debate, which we encourage here, but what matters here is that the moments that made the cut are some of the best we’ve ever seen.

While we wait to find out if something that happens in Minneapolis makes a future edition of the list, let’s start with a look at one of the most painful losses a team could suffer in the title game.
