High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (vs CHA – $10,100): Needs 41.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.9 fantasy points against Minnesota. Durant has been over 50 fantasy points in his last two games. Numbers are never an issue for him due to the team he’s on and how good he is. It’s just a matter of how high those numbers will get with his scoring and playmaking. The matchup is great for him on Sunday. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jabari Parker (at DEN – $6,400): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.8 fantasy points against Utah. It’s a slow night at the small forward position, especially if Gallinari doesn’t end up playing. He had just 15.1 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Mar. 21. His ceiling is high but I’m not in love with him in this matchup just because he can bust at any moment. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Rudy Gay (vs SAC – $6,100): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.1 fantasy points against Cleveland. Gay has been down in this last week, failing to crack 25 fantasy points in three of his last four games. But the matchup is very good and I like Gay overall as a player. And he’s not even a high salary guy, he’s in this position thanks to a lack of options on a four-game slate. The matchup is good if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
