Players costing $6,250 or under

Emmanuel Mudiay (vs CHI – $6,100): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.25 fantasy points against Miami. You never know what you’re getting out of the Knicks but Mudiay is starting and getting the minutes right now. He’s been over 35 fantasy points in three of the last four games and now he’s up against the Bulls. Offense has never been an issue for Mudiay and there should be plenty of offense to go around in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

DJ Augustin (at TOR – $6,100): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33 fantasy points against Indiana. Augustin has been over 30 fantasy points in three straight and four of his last five. The minutes will continue to be there and Augustin is a guy who knows how to raise his game going into the playoffs. The matchup can be tough but the Raptors have nothing to play for while the Magic are still giving a strong effort. It’s a big night at the guard position so you should be able to find value elsewhere. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jalen Brunson (vs PHI – $5,400): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. You can always save money and go with Trey Burke off the Dallas bench of Tim Frazier if the Bucks don’t end up playing anyone once again. But Brunson is going to get the minutes for a depleted Dallas team and the Sixers are a good matchup with their overall defense. I love his ceiling, but if you want to save money the other two might appeal to you a bit more. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
