The 2019 NFL Draft will take place later this month, and all signs point to Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray heading to the desert.

It is officially April, and that means the 2019 NFL Draft is only a couple of weeks away, as teams will descend on Nashville, Tennessee. There is a lot of work to be done before that first index card is handed to Roger Goodell, so let us take a look at what the first round could look like on April 25.

Here is our latest 2019 NFL mock draft.

The Arizona Cardinals hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and it is becoming clearer that they know what they want to do with it. The consensus first pick for the Cardinals is Kyler Murray from Oklahoma, which is a bit surprising considering the team traded up in the first round last year to get UCLA’s Josh Rosen.

With a new head coach in place, Arizona will want to bring in a guy more suited to run Kliff Kingsbury’s offense, and Murray is the logical choice. While he may not have the height that teams look for in a franchise quarterback, he was a Heisman  Trophy winner in his only season as the starter at Oklahoma, and is a fantastic quarterback prospect.

This is an organization that won only three games last season, but they did not have much talent on either side of the ball, and Rosen was running for his life all season long. If they do have their sights set on Murray, expect Rosen to be traded within the next couple of weeks, and there should be plenty of teams in play for his services.
