FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 5, 2019
High Value SG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Dwyane Wade (at MIN – $6,300): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.4 fantasy points against Boston. Wade has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games and five of his last six. I’m not doubting Wade at this point because it’s now or never for Miami. And with all their injuries, it’s definitely now. He will come out strong against a poor Timberwolves defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Terrence Ross (vs ATL – $5,400): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.3 fantasy points against New York. After a rough month, Ross bounced back strong against the Knicks. It was the Knicks, so it’s tough to put too much stock into that game. But the Hawks are the Hawks and even though they are fun, they don’t offer much defense. Ross should keep his scoring up in this game while chipping in with assists as well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Wayne Ellington (at OKC – $4,900): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.8 fantasy points against Indiana. Ellington is shooting hot right now, going over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. And now he gets a Thunder defense that typically can’t be bothered to show up for these games. He’s going to get the shots and you shouldn’t buy into OKC just because they beat the Lakers. Ellington will keep it going. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
