Seth Rollins looks for another major WrestleMania moment as he takes on Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.

Seth Rollins is no stranger to big WrestleMania moments, and he’s looking to make yet another this Sunday at WrestleMania 35 as he battles Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.

Rollins made history four years ago at WrestleMania 31 when he became the first and only person to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on the grandest stage of them all, inserting himself into the WWE Championship Match between Lesnar and Roman Reigns to make it a triple threat. He pinned his former Shield brethren that night in one of the most shocking finishes in WrestleMania history, but there’s no Reigns this time around as The Architect has to deal with Lesnar one-on-one. That’s something he’s had to deal with before, although that match also had a third party involved at the end.

Rollins and Lesnar squared off at WWE Battleground in July 2015, but The Undertaker inserted himself into the equation as the match was winding down and cost Lesnar a shot at regaining the WWE Championship, revenge for The Beast ending The Streak at WrestleMania XXX. This sent the two on different paths for the next few years, but they’ve found their way back to one another for what should be a brutal match this Sunday.

Following his win at the Royal Rumble in January, Rollins wasted little time in letting the world know that he’d be challenging Lesnar at WrestleMania for the Universal Championship, a title that Lesnar has held for the vast majority of the last two years, a total of more than 650 days since first winning it from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. The night after the Rumble, Rollins rushed Lesnar and received six F-5s for his trouble, which would take out most normal men. However, The Kingslayer screamed for more as Lesnar left the ring, showing the WWE Universe that he wouldn’t be backing down from this challenge.

Rollins’ biggest gripe has been that Lesnar’s part-time status is disrespectful to the WWE locker room and to the Universal Championship itself. While Rollins goes out and steals the show each and every week, Lesnar only shows up when he feels like it. Much like Reigns wanted before him (and actually accomplished before having to step away to battle leukemia), Rollins wants the Universal title to be a constant fixture on Monday nights and he’ll get his chance to make that happen this Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Rollins has the momentum going into WrestleMania after hitting Lesnar with a couple of low blows and The Stomp on the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw. Can he ride that into The Showcase of the Immortals and once again make history?
