FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 8, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
Donovan Mitchell (vs DEN – $9,800): Needs 41.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.9 fantasy points against LA Lakers. The Jazz still have something to play for and the Nuggets are going to play their starters, making this less likely to be a blowout. Mitchell is the best perimeter scorer on either side and he’s the best offensive player on Utah. He’s done well against the Nuggets this season, averaging 46.1 fantasy points in three games. He’s a high ceiling guy and maybe not quite as reliable as others, but the minutes will be there unlike some others in his position. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Delon Wright (at DET – $8,600): Needs 36.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55.6 fantasy points against Dallas. The Grizzlies are playing anyone they can pull out of the crowd and Delon Wright. So, you know that Delon Wright will continue to deliver for the Grizzlies. This game might not be competitive, although the Pistons are an odd team, but I know that Wright is going to deliver in a big way for them. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Andrew Wiggins (vs TOR – $7,000): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Wiggins had his usual strong game against the Thunder and now he gets another matchup that he typically plays well against. He’s been playing fairly well overall as of late and he’s up against a Raptors team with nothing to play for. Wiggins should continue to get it done in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
