The NHL Draft Lottery is tonight, but where can you watch and all of that good stuff?

Welcome to a live stream post about the NHL Draft Lottery, something you might not be watching or know is happening but should.

You can’t actually watch the lottery here. BUT, let us tell you why this year’s lottery is going to be one you need to care about (and also let you know where you can watch it). With the Stanley Cup Playoffs set to start tomorrow, we know exactly who is on the outside looking in and hoping to jump start their future now.

Two of the best teams in the playoffs this year are the Calgary Flames and Toronto Maple Leafs. These are teams that a few years ago were alright but nothing special, until  they used young talent and smart front office decisions to take the leap to the next level.

Are they Stanley Cup favorites? Not with Tampa Bay and its historic season standing in the way. But the point is these teams — along with others like Colorado, New York, and Winnipeg — all built around young stars and added pieces to supplement, thus creating playoff teams.

That’s what the teams in the lottery tonight are hoping for. Minnesota used to be a playoff staple but are rebuilding, the Blackhawks have two of the best players in the league on roster and can add a young star for the future, and teams like Montreal, Anaheim, and Detroit can return to glory days with the right pick.
