Rayjon Tucker – SG

Former school: Central Arkansas, redshirt junior (Graduate transfer)
6’5″ 210 pounds
2018-19 stats: 20.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.8 apg

Schools interested: Arizona, Arizona State, St. John’s, Utah, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Memphis, TCU, Nevada, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Miami, South Carolina, Auburn, UConn, Texas Tech, Maryland, West Virginia, Grand Canyon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Michigan, USC, Seton Hall, Oregon, NC State, Wichita State, Gonzaga

After spurning several ACC programs as a three star recruit out of Charlotte, North Carolina, Rayjon Tucker ended up at Florida Gulf Coast, a program that was known as being “dunk city.”

The name of the school, fit the style of play of Tucker to a tee, as he was known for his incredible athleticism and high flying dunk reels.

After two years at FGCU, Tucker transferred away to Little Rock where he spent one season. He finished the year as the conference’s fourth-leading scorer, averaging over 20 points and nearly seven rebounds per game.

Those statistics, along with his highlight reel, are what has made him the most coveted transfer on the market at the moment. He’s heard from just about every major school including North Carolina, Michigan, Gonzaga, Arizona, Memphis, Tennessee, Louisville at others.

He’s currently scheduled to take a visit to West Virginia this weekend, and likely will schedule more over the coming weeks.

Coming from Charlotte, N.C., to me it would be a shock to see Rayjon spend his final season of college basketball playing anywhere else than North Carolina.

Prediction: North Carolina
