12. Green Bay Packers – Rashan Gary, DE, Michigan

The Green Bay Packers need help on the edge, which is why made a splash with a pair of signings in free agency to add Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith. But they really should draft one too, because you can never have enough pass rushers.

Rashan Gary is a former No. 1 overall recruit who never quite lived up to the billing at Michigan. He was a good player who was a two-time All-Big Ten performer but was limited to 9.5 career sacks in three years.

The 6-5, 283-pound Gary has some scheme versatility where he can line up as a 4-3 end, 3-4 end or a 4-3 tackle in passing situations. Gary might be a better athlete or prospect than he is a polished player, but the upside is enormous that the Packers couldn’t pass him up.
