NBA Bets – Tuesday April 16th – Try Portland Again
By John Fazio
Good day from NBA Bets. Three playoff games continue their series tonight so let’s take a look at the most likely winners.
Blazers (-1.25 at a pick) defeat Oklahoma City, 10:30 pm
The Blazers won game 1 of this playoff series after losing all 4 of the regular season games. NBA Bets believes the tide has turned and Portland will hold home court.
Yesterday the 76ers came alive scoring a whopping 145 points en route to a 22 point win. We had the Nets +8 as a loser after winning game 1 but still have positive equity in the series.
Spurs (+7) throttle the Nuggets, 9 pm
San Antonio is another team looking good at +7 tonight. After winning game 1 as a 6 point dog, the natural tendency is to expect the home team to come thru as a must win. It happened in Philadelphia last night.
However NBA Bets believes this Spurs team can hold off that trend and possibly win this game outright. Gregg Popovich has a way of pulling off these miracles and there is ample reason to play his team again.
Orlando (+10 1/2) holds off Toronto, 8 pm
The Magic continue their incredible run winning game 1. The Raptors are still favored in the series but this Magic momentum is something special.
This line opened 8 1/2 and has been bet up to 10 with a 10 1/2 or two now popping up. Stepping in the way of this freight train and laying Toronto is a low percentage play now. There is value just in the number with taking the points plus it needs to be shown the Magic can falter.
NBA Bets is taking Orlando again and will ride this team until they show at least some vulnerability. Let the games begin.
NBA Bets Recap For Tuesday April 16th:
Orlando +10 1/2
San Antonio +7
Portland money line (pick) -1.25
We will see if these dogs can rise again and make us a winner. Enjoy the day.
