There have been a lot of changes over the past few months when it comes to John Harbaugh’s club. Are the Baltimore Ravens primed for a big 2019?

In 2018, the Baltimore Ravens overcame a sluggish start and wound up AFC North champions. But it’s been an offseason of major departures for a franchise looking to make consecutive playoff appearances for the first time since head coach John Harbaugh began his career with the team and led them to the postseason each of his first five seasons.

Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco was dealt to the Denver Broncos. Pass-rushers Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith are now with the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers, respectively. Inside linebacker C.J. Mosley signed with the New York Jets. Safety Eric Weddle was released and joined the Los Angeles Rams. Those are some big names gone from a team that won 10 games in 2018.

When the Baltimore Ravens’ schedule is announced, we will update immediately. Here are the team’s 2019 opponents, home and away.

Home: Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, New England Patriots, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers

New general manager Eric DeCosta has added the likes of running back Mark Ingram, safety Eric Thomas and wide receiver Seth Roberts. But the club will need a lot of its young players to step up this season as the team looks to build on last year’s 6-1 finish down the stretch.

The Ravens’ offense is being geared around the numerous skills of quarterback Lamar Jackson, who took over with seven games to play this past season and opened some eyes in various ways. DeCosta has seven picks in this year’s draft and it will be interesting to see what direction the team goes with those selections.
