How to watch Beyonce’s Homecoming online: Live stream
Beyonce’s Homecoming drops at midnight PT and 3 a.m. ET on Netflix. Here’s how you can watch online.
Homecoming is finally (almost, depending on when you read this) here. Beyonce’s documentary detailing the creation and production of her 2018 Coachella performance, featuring behind-the-scenes footage of both rehearsal and the Carters’ private life, will drop on Netflix at midnight PT and 3 a.m. ET.
The Beychella film will be exclusively streaming on Netflix, marking a huge coup for the streaming service. Beyonce was up until recently awfully brand loyal to HBO (and, of course, TIDAL). HBO premiered her landmark visual album special, Lemonade, as well as her 2013 documentary Life is But a Dream. The premium cable network also premiered a concert-movie tour called On the Run, from Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z’s tour of the same name. All of which is to say, the fact HBO is not airing Homecoming is surprising.
In any case: Netflix! You’ll need a Netflix subscription to watch the documentary so if you don’t have a log-in yourself, start hitting up your friends, family, neighbors, exes, etc. to get yourself a username and password. (Prayers for anyone encountering limits on the number of users who can stream at once. Courtesy dictates account holder gets right of first view, of course.)
