After continuing down a strange path to relevance by trading Odell Beckham Jr last month, the new-look New York Giants will look to get back to the playoffs against a challenging schedule.

It may look like the New York Giants are in the midst of a rebuild, but don’t let General Manager Dave Gettleman hear that. Despite letting Landon Collins walk in free agency and trading key cogs like Oliver Vernon and Odell Beckham Jr to Cleveland, the Giants firmly believe they are capable of winning in 2019.

New York still features a talented running back in Saquon Barkley, and veteran wideout Golden Tate was imported to give Eli Manning a new weapon to pair with Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram. The deals with Cleveland helped the Giants net a pair of additional choices in this year’s draft, which is heavy on defensive talent, perhaps opening a path for Big Blue to quickly reload the unit with multiple starters.

Here is who New York will be playing this year on its home and away schedules.

Week 1: at Dallas Cowboys – 4:25 p.m. – FOX
Week 2: vs. Buffalo Bills – 1 p.m. – CBS
Week 3: at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 4 p.m. – FOX
Week 4: vs. Washington Redskins – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 5: vs. Minnesota Vikings – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 6: at New England Patriots (Thurs.) – 8:20 p.m. – FOX
Week 7: vs. Arizona Cardinals – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 8: at Detroit Lions – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 9: vs. Dallas Cowboys (Mon.) – 8:20 p.m. – ESPN
Week 10: at New York Jets – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 11: BYE
Week 12: at Chicago Bears – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 13: vs. Green Bay Packers – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 14: at Philadelphia Eagles (Mon.) – 8:20 p.m. – ESPN
Week 15: vs. Miami Dolphins – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 16: at Washington Redskins – 1 p.m. – FOX
Week 17: vs. Philadelphia Eagles – 1 p.m. – FOX

The schedule still features plenty of intriguing matchups for the Giants, including a cross-town matchup with the Jets and Sam Darnold, who the Giants passed on to take Barkley in the 2018 draft.

The Giants have been a primetime staple for years, but that may change this year with little star power on the roster outside of Barkley and an aging Manning. Both the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are clearly better than the Giants in the NFC East, so expecting a return to the playoffs given how much talent has walked out of the door is not a wise bet.
